Finally leaving his bedroom after two years stuck in isolation to write his biggest project to date : Home of Sanity, and because of the covid epidemic, it’s in early 2022 that Oscar starts his new ‘’postcards’’ challenge. The postcards are double singles released every first friday of every month and recorded in a new country/city each time with a new local artist. This month, Oscar got inspired by spring time and decided to take a train to Amsterdam where he met up with Blanks. Together they wrote the cheery best day ever, full of synth bringing the 80’s vibe we love. best day ever is the perfect song for a never ending carefree summer day spent with the ones you love. A few days later, Oscar came back for his show in Amsterdam and stayed a bit longer to finish the song and shoot the music videos that we all wait for every month.In January Oscar Anton started his world tour with a stop in Italy to record the postcard from Milan and the single cheerios with VV, he then jumped on a plane to meet up with Fil Bo Riva in Berlin and write grapejuice, hit single of the postcard from Berlin that just reached 1M streams! In March Oscar went south for a tapas break and to produce the postcard from Madrid featuring the single homesick with local singer songwriter: dani. The following month, it’s in Istanbul that you could find Oscar, more specifically in Nilipek.’s studio where they wrote the soft castles under the falling snow. Following the great success of the “Home Of Sanity” challenge, Oscar Anton is back with the “Postcards” concept. Traveling across the world, the bedroom pop artist keeps on writing his success story by releasing a new single every month, each single being recorded in a different city/country with a local artist he met during his trip. This first postcard from Milan opens up a new chapter bringing Oscar out of his bedroom to see the world, and party with you during his “first tour ever” taking place right now and with half of it sold out shows in London, Milan, Paris, Switzerland, The Netherlands and more. With “Home Of Sanity”, Oscar gifted us 36 singles released in a two songs + one bonus set every month of 2020. One stone after another, Oscar Anton built a house welcoming every soul that wants to share, rest, feel and love. A house that keeps on getting bigger as the independent French artist already gathered 36 millions streams, more than 20k radio airplays across 24 countries with radio charts in Italy, Germany, Brasil, Turkey... 100+ editorial playlists on DSPs, a movie synchronisation in Italy, a few great shows (Montreux Jazz Festival, Battiti Festival, Cognac Festival...) and close to two hundred thousand followers around the world.
